ECC boards only work with the 3/260 and 4/260 cpus and up.
The earlier ram boards work with the 3/160 cpu.... AFIK.
That might be a problem. Check the board compatibility in the
faq or the feh.
Pull everything except the cpu and the scsi controller and try that.
If that works...
Put one ram board in slot 5 and see if that works. Make sure the
jumpers on the backplane are set correctly, since I think they cut
the memory or interrupts AFTER slot 5 when set up correctly. That
keeps the cpu and ram from crosstalking to downstream boards. The
details are in the backplane configuration manual and the feh.
If that works, change ram boards to test the second board. That
way you will know both boards are OK or not. Check jumpers on the
ram board as needed.
If that works, add one board in slot 4 with the other in slot 5,
and try that. Again check backplane and ram board jumpering.
That is all I can think of offhand. Maybe in diag mode it will tell
you something additional.
