[rescue] Hidden process

Hello list,

Has anybody ever came across that a program running in
Ultra 1(Solaris 2.6) is not shown under ps -ef ? The
process was launched as background process(&). U can
truss it but can't find it in ps -ef. Seems like it
only happen to this particular process. FYI, it is a
house developed program. We don't find any special
commands in the source code(written in C). Any ideas ?
