That's in addition to 'proper' work though, isn't it.  You've already got
things covered wrt pension, sick pay, etc, so don't need to include those
costs.  In effect, this freelancing is just for beer money.

When I freelance, I charge UKP100/hr.  Sure, I don't need to charge that
much cos like you, I'm in a full-time job as well.  But I reason that if
I charged less, I'd get more work and so have the choice of either having
less personal time (bad) or have to turn customers away (bad).  This way,
I get a little bit of work - maybe one job every three months - which
pays me a nice fat wedge.

OK, I also do plenty of tiny little jobs for friends/neighbours/community
for free, and I'll give advice to anyone provided they pay for the food
whilst I'm dispensing my wisdom :-)
