[rescue] historic computer show in Providence

This is really short notice, and only applies to people
in the Providence area, but:

The Retro-Computing Society of Rhode Island is having an
exhibit of historic computers at the RISD Industrial Design
Gallery (161 South Main Street, across from the Cable Car).

Opening night is Thursday Oct. 4 from 5:30-7:30pm, and the show
runs through the end of October.

The exhibit includes pieces dating back to the early 50s,
and one minimal but complete mainframe (picture a dozen vending
machines lined up).
