I was just wondering if you have any spare machines?

I was thinking of getting some friends to help pitch in to donate one to the
OpenBSD team.

Just thinking.

I am sorry for the broadcast email to the list, but there were a lot of
folks interested, and I just wanted to update those folks who either
responded to my earlier post *or* were considering my earlier offer, but for
whatever reason never wrote me...

The first 8 Ultra 1-170 (non-Enterprise) headless boxes will be shipping
from IL later today, I should be getting them next week. Once I get them, I
will confirm the configuration, 24 hour SunVTS test them, then wrap them up
and ship them out to those folks interested upon receipt of payment.

The basic config is as follows:

Ultra 1-170 base (not an Enterprise base)
    128 Meg RAM
    2 Gig HD
    Floppy drive
    Country kit

** Nothing else - no framebuffer, no CD-ROM, etc. I do not have
framebuffers or CD-ROMs to sell with these systems.**

Price is $120 for the system, plus actual shipping charges from me to you -
I am in NJ, and local pick-up is an option for those that would prefer.
These systems will have a 14 day No-DOA guarantee, and will be shipped
insured via FedEx Ground only (est. cost to CA from NJ is $25).

If you told me you were interested in a system, I will contact you once your
system is ready for shipment, and will ship it upon receipt of payment. If
you have changed your mind, I will simply move to the next person on the
list, no problem.

I have a couple folks interested in international shipment of the boxes, so
I am happy to let everyone know that International shipment is available at
actual cost.

There will be a test-install of Solaris (to facilitate SunVTS testing), but
you should plan on re-installing your OS of choice.

I have access to more systems, so if others are interested, please feel free
to contact me off list at n2vip at yahoo.com.

Thanks for your indulgence, and if you have any questions, please feel free
to contact me directly at the above address.

Ken
