[rescue] pkgadd failure - checkinstall

I *am* still being an eediot.  do_cluster_install (for some
odd reason) only works with the "pNNNNN.zip" clusters that
access1.sun.com can produce on the fly, and blows up after
unarchiving 8_Recommended.zip.  Obviously too long since I
did any of this by hand without scripts for a crutch.

So would anyone actually like to volunteer their combination
of 8_Recommended.zip, patchadd/install/fastpatch, and scripts
that works best for them?
