[rescue] Odd DNS problem with Solaris 8

Get rid of nscd:

/etc/rc2.d/S76nscd stop
mv /etc/rc2.d/S76nscd /etc/rc2.d/s76nscd

Restart your browser.

Also, try installing a local caching nameserver on *your* machine.
