With the DEC drive it was almost inpossible to get anything done at
all...with the Generic Drive the system is almost as fast as it used
to be with Solaris 2.6 on the same machine... I never used Solaris 2.7.
that mutch because I required 2.6. for a couple of applications that I
required.
