I think the US can safely be considered a giant neighbor (or neighbour)...
but just for your amusement, here's the info from the CIA Factbook at
http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/indexgeo.html ...

Canada: 9976140 km^2, 31281092 people, GDP $ 722.3b, 750 ISPs
USA: 9629091 km^2, 275562673 people, GDP $9255.0b, 7600 ISPs
Russia:17075200 km^2, 146001176 people, GDP $ 620.3b, 83 ISPs
China:	9596960 km^2,1261832482 people, GDP $4800.0b, 3 ISPs

Figured I'd throw the ISP count in to make this almost look like it could
be mistaken for being on topic.

To further feign on-topicness, does anybody know if an ADIC 8mm VLS
library can take an AIT drive without major trouble? Anyone got docs for
this sort of beastie? (adic.com doesn't really admit it exists anymore)
