Have you setup the PayPal button? Or is it something
already in place I haven't noticed on PayPal.

I'd rather spend $10 and see you get over $9.50 than
spend $10 to see you get a bit over $8.00.

The main downside to Amazon's system is that they get a substantial cut of
it (15% plus $0.15). I know Paypal has a similar option (a "donate"
button) that has slightly lower fees (closer to 2%).

Probably a pretty good idea.
