Actually, 
I noticed the opposite effect. I am PEPSI only, and vastly prefer the
taste of Fountain soda. I had a bit of a weight problem, and went to
Diet Pepsi, and noticed that it is significantly sweeter at *MOST* soda
fountains. I have noticed that some stores seem to have set the mix a
bit lean, in effect watering down the pop, but by and large the most
satisfying taste (For me) is through a fountain (With lots of Ice)
