What's that make my VT103?  It's got a 4 * 4 Qbus backplane.  I always

I know I heard the term "smart terminal" before X was in vogue.  Perhaps
it was originally in reference to something like the Opus Esprit, which
was a multifunction unit with many features besides simple terminal
emulation.

IMO a VT52 is an example of a glass tty.  A DECwriter is a tty.  Something
like a VT220 is considerably beyond both categories.
