Anyone got a 4300 cpu manual I could get a copy of?
As my luck goes, the nvram chip was dead and the wrong one, at that.
What different nvram chips work in that critter. Mine is a 48T12 that
someone stuck in it, and it should be a 48T02, according to the board
silkscreen. I tried several out of my nvram chip box, but none worked.
I tried a real 48T02 out of my IPX and that worked, sort of, but I had
to move it back to the IPX.
Anyone got the Sun rom book and can make me a copy of the sparc cpu section?
I once had a copy of that book in my paws, but I couldn't pry it hard enuf
out if the other fellows hands! Then, he moved out of town and my source
was gone....(:+{{...
I need to know what values to poke into that nvram chip to get it set up
correctly for the 4300 cpu.
Thanks
Bob
