All Solaris 2.x/SunOS 5.x revs support filesystems in the terabyte range.
SunOS 4 does as well when using Online:DiskSuite.

FWIW I ran Solaris 2.4 on my desktop 4/330 (with 40MB of RAM, originally).
It wasn't a speed demon but felt exactly the same regardless of load.
Solid combination.
