[rescue] FDDI vs switched 100BaseTX, vs SPARC LX

I love cisco hardware, but if you can't.. erm.. Aquire it it's way too
expensive.  BTW, anyone familiar with the standard failure modes for a
2912?  I've got one that appears totally dead, and I'm wondering if there
are any common fixes I can try.
