[rescue] SGI box... what exactly is it?

Boot to single user mode. Search for indigo on the net and you will find
plenty of documentation. Seems to be the most documented SGI around.

The SGI faqs (http://www.faqs.org/faqs/sgi/faq/) are also extremely
thorough and helpful.

This machine should still be significantly faster than you LX, at least
for graphical applications, if not in raw CPU power.

If you wait, keyboards do show up on ebay. Apparently you can also use an
Onyx keyboard, although that doesn't sound right to me. I've never double
checked this, but the keyboard on my schools onyx looks like a regular
PS2 keyboard.

You can boot to serial. Just don't hook a keyboard up.

And, I don't think those are sbus slots.
