[rescue] SGI box... what exactly is it?

Hey all,

I got my hands on an interesting box today.. Silicon Graphics.

It is dark blue, stands vertically, as it is a tower, and has these words
on the front:

 IRIS Indigo

I looked up that post a few weeks back detailing all the various SGIs and
processor, but I did not see this in the list.

It uses what appear to be somewhat standard (maybe a bit taller than
usual) 72-pin SIMMs, and has a big mean looking heatsink on the processor
with a complicated clip I wasn't able to figure out in the few minutes I
was able to glance at it.

The memory and processor are on a removable card labelled "CPU" and there
is another slot (empty) labelled graphics or some such.

It has all the necessary connectors on the CPU card backplane:

 PS/2 port (with keyboard icon)
 two minidin-8 serial ports
SVGA (condensed 15-pin) AND 13W3 connectors
 among other connectors

 1.2GB hard drive.

Any clues? And remembering even older discussions involving period
software vs. linux/netbsd/openbsd, how easily acquirable is a set of
SGI installation media for this beast?

 Thanks.
