there are a LOT of small communities in Texas settled back when by Central
Europeans.  I would imagine that their descendants (and their slang)
migrated north to Oklahoma.

Bohunk is an ethnic slur referring to folks of Central European descent
(Bohemia+Hungary), How does this fit describing a redneck town, less'n it's
coal town full of imported workers or some such?
