[SunRescue] Sun5 Keyboard `Beep'

I have been blessed with a rather loud keyboard beep on this particular
Sun5 Keyboard; and am getting <beeping> fed up with it countinually
<beeping>.

GNU/Debian/Linux/Sparc (anymore slashes anyone?) on a SS5; how do I reduce
the volume.

(the keyboard also has a complete set of DIP switchs if this helps)
