If she's got anything whatsoever to do with their DNS and mailer
hostname configurations, then give her some hell from me too!
I don't really want/need any mail from hotmail users, but they try to
send it anyway and my mailer must tell me this thousands of times per
day:
07/29/2001 11:44:38: [333] remote HELO: rejected: invalid operand: 'hotmail.com': from (oe74.law12.hotmail.com) source [64.4.18.209]: no DNS A records for the hostname 'hotmail.com' have a target address matching the source address [64.4.18.209].
I thought I had a slim chance of clue-by-4'ing the hotmail admins before
MSN got involed, but afterwards I just had to give up completely -- they
became like a black hole for complaints (seemingly from their own
authorised users too!).
