[rescue] IDE CD-RW

Don't know about the Phillips. I have a Sony CRX140 that was listed by Sun 
(http://www.sun.com/io_technologies/storagesolutions.html) as
compatable. Burns and reads fine, but doesn't like to be a boot device. This 
isn't so bad, as if I need to boot a cd, things are hosed enough that swapping 
the origional cd drive in is the least of my worries... ;'>
