I have to put away a sixer before I am any fun to be around at
parties.  After a half-rack, I stagger and slur my speech. =

More than a half-rack and I can't remember enough of what went
on to know what condition I was in. =


For this reason, I am somewhat unsure of the time-frame.
I have some recall of about an hour and a half after this particular
binge started, but I am not 100% sure I finished all of the beer
in that time frame.  I finished at least five in the first half hour, =

and in that time I gave away two of the original 24. I started to
roam the hallways being unusually sociable, returning
periodically to chug another. The last time I looked at a clock
was about 1:30 AM, and the whole thing began around midnight,
after the RA went to bed.  The following afternoon, when I regained
conciousness, all the box was empty, and 22 cans lay on
the floor of my room. Upon crashed drunk analysis, I probably
took more like two hours to finish them all.  Witness accounts
indicate that I gave up on female company shortly after 2AM
and slumped against a wall in the hallway, and was eventually
half-dragged back to my room by the guys next door. Somehow,
I didn't even puke, apparently. I did puke the time I put away
most of a bottle of gin.    =

I haven't felt the need to do any binge drinking on this scale
after age 21, but I still get pretty drunk when I party. I haven't
partied much lately, though, and otherwise only have a beer =

with dinner a few times a week. These days, I'd rather buy
old Sun stuff than beer with the money I can scrounge up.
