Me likewise. Not only do I consider it unprofessional to send me a document
in a format which they *know* I don't want (I am always very clear when
communicating with them that I will not read Microsoft documents), it's just
stupid of them to do something which the potential customer has expressly
told them not to do. They simply don't get my business. There's always a
more clueful alternative - and if they don't know what they're doing wrong,
then they're too lacking in Clue to offer good service anyway.
And that doesn't just go for vendors. I will reject people whose CVs
arrive in Word format (I always ask for them in a standard, open format),
for example, and I am at least sceptical of businesses whose webshites need
demoronising.
