[SunRescue] RE: Solaris 1.1 on Sun 4/330

To all,

Can't say anything about a 4/330, but I can about DNS under
Sol 1.1/SunOS 4.1.x (I run 4.1.4 on this IPC).  To just be
able to query a DNS server, set up your /etc/resolv.conf file,
get NIS (I've even stopped calling it YellowPages now...) running
(make it a one machine NIS domain!), setting 'B=-b' in the NIS
Makefile, and pass the '-d' to ypserv.

I've been running this with dial-up Internet access for some
years now.
