Mike,

I didn't really mean discolorization.  I meant that the coloration was
different.  My mouse is two colored, split top to bottom.  The mouse in
the picture is also two colored, but it is the mouse buttons that are
the different colors.  

Mine might be a different FRU..... The number I saw on the web page
didn't match anything on my mouse, so maybe my mouse is an updated
version that works better.

I bought it because it was cheap, and IBM :-)
