He said 72 _bit_ not 72 pin.

My immediate reaction to reading it was to think "that should be 36 bit,
surely.." but then I remembered that it is 72 pin simms which are 36 bits
wide... :)

I suspect that the proper sun parts would actually be 66 bits wide? - as
sun usually use just 1 parity bit per 32 bit word. the SS5 dimm which i'm
looking at now would seem to confirm that. 16 big memory chips, 2 little
ones, and 2 buffer chips.
