Exactly.  Hungarians make a Foie Gras with goose that is an engorged goose
liver and is basically a goose fat spread that can be eaten cold or hot
with pieces of the liver and sprinkled with paprika.  It is divine... yet
looks disgusting.  My grandmother from Hungary used to spread lard on her
toast... (I did try that and it's not very tasty...)
