[rescue] SparcStation 10 suddenly dead - fried motherboard?

My SS10 has died. I had replaced the boot PROM recently, and all was well.
When I examined the 
insides I saw that the PROM was no longer fully seated in the socket - some
of 
the legs were in the air. I pushed the PROM in but the box is still dead -
no display,
(CG6 works in another box.) A different PROM made no difference. Did I toast
the motherboard?
