Maybe look around for a cheaper supported SCSI card?

Intraserver/LSI have a single-channel short UWSCSI (40MB/sec) card at
http://www.intraserver-store.com/ss3140um.html for just $190. Drivers are
apparently included in Solaris.

They also have a $280 U2LVD80 SCSI card at
http://www.intraserver-store.com/ss6100lm.html

I've used their dual bus card in a U60RM from Tatung under Solaris 7. It
took add-on drivers but made good use of my U160 disks.

Not affiliated with Intraserver/LSI, just a satisfied customer.

There are other companies that do these cards... I think Phobos and
Antares both have them but I've only used the Antares (can't find online
pricing for them...).

If it were me, I'd probably use about $400 worth of my time and then break
down and get the $200 card. :)
