[SunRescue] MBus CPU's in a SC2000

I have a couple of SM61's (501-2613) that if I get a SC2000 I'd want to
use in it. I noticed in the FEH that several SM61's are listed as 'Not
compatible with the sun4d XDbus' while others (including the 2613) are
listed as ' not tested or approved for use in the SS1000'. Does that
mean that they WILL work in an XDbus machine, but that 'you're on your
own' if it doesn't work? After seeing a SC2000e on ebay, and getting
sniped on it, I really want to get one of these, and there's a guy about
a 6 hour drive away from me that has one with no drives, unknown amount
of memory, and 6 cpu's (unknown speed) for $600.00 Is that a good price
for an SC2000? If I get it, I will probably cannibalize my 690 (take the
drive tray, mbus modules, etc.) and use the striped out 690 as an
expansion case for the 2000. Am I spinning my wheels? Any thoughts would
be appreciated.
