Look on the back for a jumper marked "block". One or the other settings
(can't remember which) will set the block sizing for Sun/SGI booting. If it
most likely came out of an Intel box, then set it the "other" way.
If it is jumperable, it should work on most any Sun.

Subject: [SunRescue] Plextor PX-43CS on sparc hardware?
At today's MooU Surplus Diving Pit Friday Funzies Feeding Frenzy
(and it was a pure-d frenzy, today). I managed to pick up a fine
one buckeroo Plextor PX-43CS scsi cdrom (4x caddy thing). Does
anyone know if this will work in Sun VME or later Sparc hardware
or Sun 69K VME hardware? It is listed in the intel support hardware,
but I need it for the sparc hardware mostly. If so, is there anything
I need to set on the thing (jumpers or mods of some sort)?
Thanks
Bob
