Bill,

First off, why are you upgrading an Ultra 2 while on vacation?

Second, as a note, you are upgrading processor families when you take an Ultra 2 from 167 to 300 MHz Ultra CPUs, so I would expect that there will probably be a firmware upgrade. As for jumpers/etc, have you checked out the manuals at docs.sun.com? That would show you if there are any jumpers on th MB to be considered...
