Actually you can only subscribe to the workstations list from 
workstations.org.  There's also the Classic Computers mailing
list (classiccmp at classiccmp.org), which covers any machine 10
years old or older.

For non-sun stuff, you definitely want the packrats list.

Just a note - SunHELP will also be hosting the Sun-Managers mailing
list soon.
