Buy the Palm...it will sync with your Sun! The Sun PDASync software works
better (IMNSHO) than the Palm Hot-Sync for Windows!!! Check it out at:

I'm using an old Palm Professional syncing to my Sun Ultra 10 running
Solaris 8.
