My telco is comming out on the 21st of this month to install
DSL (I consider it a 21st birthday surprise, as 21 is reverse for the
day of my b-day in December). Anyways, I'm going to get 13 static
IPs from my ISP, and need to know how to assign one to my SPARCs.
If anyone knows how to do it for Windows 2000, that'd be nice. I plan
on using my IPC for a DNS server. Would 48MB be adequete?
Or should I use my sparc SS 1+ with 64MB of RAM (switch the HD's)?
I'm not using the SS1+ now in case I aquire a third SS2 for another webserver.
Lastly, is there a quick and dirty way to setup BIND? I have the bind book
around here, if I can find it (lots of searching).
Thanks,
Paul
