[SunRescue] NetBSD on sun3 (maybe OT?)

I know, I should probably subscribe to the NetBSD list.
Until then, does anyone here have NetBSD running on their Sun3's?

I just have some simple (I hope) questions, like which window managers are available to me,
and when a machine ftp's, telnets, does rup, etc, that my machine won't print the damn
notification message while in X (so annoying, messes up the bottom portion of the screen).

Or would I need to recompile my kernal (new for me, since I finally figured out why my compilers
didn't work before), and get rid of other unnessecary junk as well?

Unfortunately, NetBSD's FAQs seemed to be more x86 based for the topics I was looking for.

Another question - I remember seeing a netinstall or something boot file I could put in /tftpboot
on my boot server; would this make it possible to netboot NetBSD so I can then install it over to
a local disk?

Thanks,

Paul
