Nope. it's your available memory after vmunix loaded into it. Especially
interesting when you're working on 4Mb machines. It reminds you that you
_really_ *should* tune the kernel.

Hmm, wonder what it feels like, booting with a kernel larger than your
physical memory. Is that possible?
1a) can you get a sun (sun1-3 probably) so low on memory that it's too
    little to hold the kernel, or
1b) can you get the kernel so big to go past the minumum amount of memory
    you can boot a sun with? (can you boot, say, a 3/60 with just 1Mb?)
2)  can the kernel handle it? Can it page before the kernel has loaded?
