Folks-

I just added some memory to my LX, and decided to _really_ read the boot log....

So, bottom line?  At least for my LX, putting 32 meg SIMMs in bank 1, and 16 meggers in banks 2 and 3, worked.  2*32 + 4*16 = 128.

Now if I can just get MP mode working....
