Errr......... err........... What are you smoking and where can I get
some? There are devices that use 66mhz 64bit pci which is very close to
what agp is. However AGP is only for gfx cards, because it is a port.
You cannot (with current chipsets) have more than one agp port, and that
is not likley to change (since you can have up to ~5 master 64bit 66mhz
pci slots). There is no advantage to building a agp card instead of a
64/66 pci card, unless you need the special hacks for gfx. Asus may have
considered building a scsi card or something, but I doubt it. As too
AGP "chewing up system resources" I'm fairly confident that you're
getting "Trying to emulate a 20K SGI" confused with "chewing up system
resources". Unless you are running agp enhanced cards (which are UMA and
Evil!) then it's just a pci card with a really really really fast bus and
a quicker path to memory. I'd explain some more but i've got to work
