The male connector has pins in it similar in size to the same pins a 25 pin
RS-232 connector has.  These are in addition to the three  (I think only
three?) large signal pins for the red, green, and blue signals.

Usually the male connector is on the end of the monitor cable that plugs
into the Sun/SGI box.  Some older cables however have two male ones used to
connect the monitor to the Sun box.  Check the Sun pics at www.obsolyte.com
