[SunRescue] Solaris 2.6

Well, I decided to load 2.6 back on my IPC.
I'm installing Y2K/etc patches on it now, but noticed that
it's faster than Solaris 7, but I have less free memory.
And this is after killing lots of unneeded junk, including X, snmp,
automountd, lp, etc.

Is Solaris 7 more memory efficient than 2.6?

Also, does anyone know if somewhere Sun still offers copies of their
"free" Solaris 2.6?
