Hello all,
Does anyone have any exp. with the Proxin RangeLan2 systems? I came =
across
an access point for this network when I went to take my CCNA test. The =
unit has an
ISA ethernet card, as well as an ISA RangeLan2 card (w/o antenna :^p ). =
I opened it
up and found a nearly empty LX* motherboard w/2 30 pin SIMMs and a =
sealed-in
floppy drive (no access from front cover - it seems to have the boot =
info on it.

*LX is an intel motherboard design (like AT, or ATX) as well, sorry for =
any confusion...

My plan is to empty the case and use it for an LX motherboard I have =
lying around,
but is there any real valuse in the RangeLan2 card? Could I cheaply add =
units on to
this access point?

The unit has an AT keyboard connector, as well as a serial port, no =
other I/O.

I'll power it up later and see what happens...

Thanks for any info,

Ken
