This is most likely a SCSI terminal server. We have a similar device here
at work. It's designed to create multiple serial ports via a SCSI channel
to use as terminal/serial device resources. Kinda like a Digiport card for
PCs.

What is this thing.
It has the sun logo, about an inch tall and has an UltraWide SCSI 2
connector on one end and 1 parallel port and 8 Serial ports. The only
markings are the logo and "Serial Parallel Controller".
Any info would be nice.
