I was thinking more of the "live" partition changing aspect of the
application.  It's a pain to wait for a DAT drive, or indeed any tape drive,
to restore all of the data.

RedHat Linux for Sparc has a boot loader called Silo (x86 is Lilo).  As
far as I know, there really isn't an easy way to dual boot from the same
drive, but there was an article on sun.com about dual booting Linux and
Solaris, which seemed a bit tricky.  Don't know the URL off hand
though..
