Actually they do look all the same, but I did make sure I attached it to
the right port ;-)

Problem: I do not have a second - or third... - SUN keyboard handy, because
I'm the only person around here that owns a SUN.

That is what I tried, but the MAC cable I organized just uses 4 pins of
the 8?

thanks a lot. I'm a PC maniac since 1983 but I never used SUN before -
and it is very different although the hardware design seems to be great
