I answered my own question on the SCSI vs. IPI part at least. Any other
information about this setup is still appreciated though.
Thanks!

Subject: [SunRescue] 670 drive 'box'

Hi,
A few weeks ago I was asking about the drive box in my 670. It has the
single connector instead of the standard(?) two connectors leading into the
drive box. I have powered it off in preparation for a reload, so I collected
some more information. The internal 50 pin flat cables appear to be SCSI SE,
but they loop back to the control board. Are these self-terminating?

Scd :4/370
Pt # :600-2356-03
Model#	:1247
Ser#	:02124
Date	:26-Sep-90

Numbers on board inside Drive box

500149308550(-01 Rev 53)
50114930113575(-03 Rev 51)

and finally, stamped into the rear cover of the box

340189203R50 9022737

I also put a few pics up at www.xsintrk.net/670

Any information is appreciated. Also, does anyone have a manual for these
systems that they can sell me a copy or reproduction of?

Thanks in Advance!

-Martin Wedel
