[SunRescue] SCSI/IDE converter and drive geometry

Greetings,

I received my latest Ebay score, an IBM 1 gig laptop HD, with an IDE/SCSI
converter card. While I want to get a bigger drive eventually, I popped the
drive/converter into my Sparcbook caddy, and fired up a Solaris CD to try
and see and format the drive.

Format sees it, but complains that it doesn't know the drive geometry. (I
can run analyze, etc.) So, do I use the parameters from the IDE drive, or do
I have to do some kind of gory conversion to something Solaris will
understand- and if that's the case, how do I do it?

More details later if necessary- people here are bugging me to go to lunch!
