Slight correction...  I think you need to actually add the converted jpeg
to a config file somewhere to allow it to be in the choice list...  A
better option is to use a program that a) reads jpegs and b) installs the
images in the "root" window - I think CDE is not capable of rendering more
than 8bpp pixmaps.  The "bm" format looks more like C than a binary image:
in fact, file * tells me that all the .bm files ARE C program text.  I
think maybe I was talking out of my rear orifice when I suggested the
conversion thing.
