I know it's not the smallest or most efficient, but I'm a bash fan... the
only thing keeping me to bash is the scrollable command history,
tab-completions, and easy keyboard mappings. (use of home and end keys)...
otherwise csh looks really nice.

yeah, this was an annoying problem for me when I started playing with
SunOS and Solaris... I ended up grabbing the gzip source, ungzipping it,
and ftping a tar archive of it, then compiling it and getting it all set.
