  Nope, he's absolutely right...An SS10 with an SM61 will run rings around an
SS5/110 any day, despite the fact that the former is running at slightly more
than half the clock rate of the latter.  Clock speed isn't the only factor that
determines computer performance.  What the chips/chipsets *DO* with those clock
cycles is much, much more important than how frequently those cycles come.

  Now...Eric says his SS5/110 is too slow.  Eric...if you want to stay with the
same platform and the same software, but with more speed, I'd definitely
suggest going with an SS10 or SS20 with one or more SM61 or better processors. 
I think they'll do what you want...and they're getting cheap now.
